Image to URL Converter: Upload a Photo, Get a Link

Free · no sign-up · no daily cap · Terms

Drop, paste or choose a photo and this image to URL converter gives you a direct link plus HTML and Markdown codes. Free, no sign-up, up to 10 MB each.

How to use the image to URL converter (3 steps)

  1. Upload your image

Drop photos on the box, paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V, or tap Choose images. Optionally pick an expiry, resize or compression level.

  2. Copy your link

When the upload finishes, the direct link is already selected; press Copy. Keep the delete link if you might want to remove it later.

  3. Share or embed it anywhere

Paste the direct link, HTML, Markdown or BBCode where you need it, or show the QR code on another device.

Why you need an image URL

A photo on your phone or computer is not a link. To show it in a forum post, a chat, an email signature, a GitHub README or an online form, you need a URL that opens the image. This tool turns your photo into that link in one step: drop it in, and you get a direct image URL plus ready-made HTML, Markdown and BBCode.

What happens to your photo before upload

Everything that makes uploads safer happens before your photo leaves your device: location and camera data are removed, huge photos are resized, and formats like HEIC and SVG are converted. Upload several photos together and you also get one album link for all of them.

What you get from your image link

Direct image link

Short links like /i/k7m2xqa.jpg that return the image itself, with long cache headers and CORS enabled.

Share page

A clean page for your image with a view counter and a QR code, so anyone can open it without a download page in front.

HTML, Markdown and BBCode embed codes

Direct link, share page, HTML (with width and height), Markdown and BBCode, one tap each.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get the URL of a photo?

Drop the photo on the upload box above (or paste it). When the upload finishes, the direct link is already selected; press Copy. That URL opens your photo anywhere.

What is an image URL?

An image URL is a web address that returns the image file itself, so it can be shown in a browser, an img tag, Markdown, a forum post or an email.

Is this image to URL converter free?

Yes. Uploading, direct links, embed codes, albums, QR codes and the view counter are free, with no account, no watermark and no download page in front of your image.

How long are my images kept?

You choose: 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months or never. Links without an expiry stay online as long as they follow the rules, and images nobody opens for 365 days are removed automatically.

Can I delete my image after uploading?

Yes. Use Delete now right after upload, or keep the private delete link. Deleting removes the file, and its direct link and share page stop working at once. Images uploaded on this device are also listed under “Your uploads on this device”, each with a Delete button.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Tap Choose images to pick from your gallery or take a photo with the camera. iPhone HEIC photos are converted to JPG in your browser when it can open them.
