GIF to URL
Drop your GIF. Copy the .gif link or embed code.
Many image hosts turn GIFs into videos or flatten them into a still frame. We keep your GIF as a real animated .gif, so it plays in forums, emails, README files and anywhere an image works.
For safety, every GIF is rebuilt frame by frame on the server: comments, hidden data and anything appended to the file are removed, while every frame and the loop setting are kept.
How it works
- Drop your GIF.
- Wait for the upload (animated GIFs are kept as they are).
- Copy the .gif link or embed code.
Features
Animation kept
Frames, timing and looping are preserved.
Cleaned safely
Hidden payloads in GIF files are stripped.
Animated WebP too
Upload animated WebP and keep its animation.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my GIF not resized?
Resizing in the browser would remove the animation, so animated GIFs are uploaded as they are. Keep them under 10 MB.
Can I hotlink the direct link?
Yes. Direct links return the image file itself (no page, no ads), allow cross-origin use and send long cache headers, so they work in img tags, Markdown, CSS, emails and forums.
How long do links last?
You choose: 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months or never. Links without an expiry stay online as long as they follow the rules. You can delete any image at once with its private delete link.
Is it really free?
Yes. Uploading, direct links, embed codes, albums, QR codes and the view counter are free, with no account, no watermark and no download page in front of your image.
